We are a Nottingham-based company whose primary aim is to enhance the quality of life for our clients by prioritising their financial well-being.

Working together, we improve and enhance overall business operations. Our accounting approach is characterised by innovation and insight, and a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Barbara Demetriou
I’m Barbara, and I founded Archimedia Accounts with the intention of helping people increase their family’s wealth, just as I did my own. I have 30+ years of experience in tax planning and also have a successful property portfolio, so I like to think I know a thing or two! I’m passionate about passing on my knowledge to improve the lives of others. I’m a real people person, and I’m often referred to as the Mother Hen of Archimedia (which I love!). I’m married to Demetris, and we have two sons (one of which is Chris) and a daughter. In my spare time, I like to relax, and I’m probably Ragdale Hall Spa’s biggest fan!
Chris Demetriou
Hi, I’m Chris, and Barbara is my mother. I always refer to myself as an entrepreneur first and an accountant second. I find great fulfilment in sharing my knowledge and helping my clients to run their businesses more efficiently and profitably. I’m a family man, married to Zoe with a son Demetris (named after his dad, of course), and a daughter Nektaria. My interests are diverse, and I love playing football as much as I do singing in a Byzantine Choir! There’s never a quiet moment, but when I do get time, I like to share my insights in the Archimedia Accounts news section.

Kirsty
Kirsty has spent the majority of her career working as a Finance Manager in businesses. She’s used to getting Management Accounts ready and helping businesses with Payroll and VAT Returns. At one stage in her life she was Head of a Chemistry Department at a senior school so she’s used to working in challenging environments! Kirsty is a client manager hear at Archimedia so she looks after clients and makes sure they’re having a great experience. She has 2 kids and loves to go on holiday and enjoy lots of experiences with her husband and the whole family.
Stephanie
Stephanie is a highly experienced and successful accountant with 30+ years of experience as Lead Financial Controller for companies turning over 100s of £millions. She trained with a Big Four firm and has achieved the status of ICAEW Chartered Accountant. Stephanie manages our Financial Controller Department and expertly oversees the analysis and transition of systems for new clients. She is a big people person, and she will likely whisk you away for coffee when you visit in person!
David
David is a solid financial professional with 30+ years of experience, including running several of his own businesses. He is the funny one in the team – yes, accountants do have a sense of humour! Along with Chris, he enjoys the odd slice or seven of cake at our local coffee shop!
Kerstin
Kerstin is a huge asset to the team and has been in finance for 25+ years. As a first-class bookkeeper, she has a very keen eye for detail. Kerstine is from Germany and is married with one son. She always has a smile on her face, and our clients appreciate her caring nature. In her spare time, she sings in a choir.
