Barbara Demetriou
I’m Barbara, and I founded Archimedia Accounts with the intention of helping people increase their family’s wealth, just as I did my own. I have 30+ years of experience in tax planning and also have a successful property portfolio, so I like to think I know a thing or two! I’m passionate about passing on my knowledge to improve the lives of others. I’m a real people person, and I’m often referred to as the Mother Hen of Archimedia (which I love!). I’m married to Demetris, and we have two sons (one of which is Chris) and a daughter. In my spare time, I like to relax, and I’m probably Ragdale Hall Spa’s biggest fan!
Chris Demetriou
Hi, I’m Chris, and Barbara is my mother. I always refer to myself as an entrepreneur first and an accountant second. I find great fulfilment in sharing my knowledge and helping my clients to run their businesses more efficiently and profitably. I’m a family man, married to Zoe with a son Demetris (named after his dad, of course), and a daughter Nektaria. My interests are diverse, and I love playing football as much as I do singing in a Byzantine Choir! There’s never a quiet moment, but when I do get time, I like to share my insights in the Archimedia Accounts news section.

Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
Kirsty has spent the majority of her career working as a Finance Manager in businesses. She’s used to getting Management Accounts ready and helping businesses with Payroll and VAT Returns. At one stage in her life she was Head of a Chemistry Department at a senior school so she’s used to working in challenging environments! Kirsty is a client manager hear at Archimedia so she looks after clients and makes sure they’re having a great experience. She has 2 kids and loves to go on holiday and enjoy lots of experiences with her husband and the whole family.

Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
Hi, I’m Viktorija! I moved to the UK 13 years ago after earning my degree in Economics (Finance) back in Lithuania. Since then, I’ve worked in fast-paced Finance departments across international Telecommunications and Logistics companies, where I gained a wealth of experience.
I hold the AATQB qualification and at Archimedia I handle day-to-day bookkeeping with management accounts and VAT Returns for our clients & e-commerce clients. I really enjoy the variety and problem-solving that comes with the role.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum of two wonderful kids. In my spare time, I love getting creative with crafts, tackling a good sudoku puzzle, or diving into DIY projects—though I’ll admit, many of those end up being “joint” efforts with my very patient husband!

Hi, I’m Jill and I’ve worked in accountancy for around 30 years after falling into it after leaving school. I’ve found a home here at Archimedia as they share my passion for caring about clients and helping them to improve their finances rather than just preparing accounts because HMRC says you have to.
I’m a caring person mainly for my amazing husband Steve and two beautiful daughters Brooke & Katie. My biggest passions in life are looking after my 3 amazing grandchildren and supporting my beloved Sunderland AFC (sadly).

Bookkeeper/Management Accountant
I’m Chloe, and I have a real passion for helping clients reach their full potential. I focus on making sure they understand the work we do and always feel heard, supported, and valued. My day-to-day work mainly involves Year-End Accounts and VAT, and I genuinely enjoy the problem-solving side of the job.
I’m a friendly voice on the phone and always happy to chat with clients! Outside of work, I love spending time with my two young children, most often at parks or soft play centres!

Hi I’m John, and I’m the Business Development Manager here at Archimedia Accounts. I studied Economics at the University of Nottingham and then went straight into banking in London. It was a fast-paced start to my career, but I eventually realised I wanted something more personal—somewhere I could build real relationships and make a genuine difference to people’s lives.
That’s what brought me to Archimedia. I love working with business owners, understanding what makes them tick, and helping them find accounting and advisory support that actually helps them grow—rather than just ticking a box for HMRC.

Hi I’m Clara, I worked in a few Accountancy Practices before finding my roots in Archimedia. I mainly work on Year End Accounts and Management Accounts.
I love art and spending time with my friends. I have a loving husband and a little daughter.
